Pray. Faith. Obey

I truly thank God for year 2012 for His work in my life. I felt so blessed to be placed in Penang an island where I get to spend  more time with God in praying, reading His words and to serve Him in various area.

In summary, what 2012 represents for me is Pray.Faith.Obey

PRAY

It is great to spend time having conversation with God in pray. I have committed for the NECF 40days prayer and fast this year. It was not easy at first but as I make it a commitment to pray (according to the guide) it was such a great experience journeying with God and I believe it will be even greater when I witness Him answering all the prayers in future.

FAITH

2012 was also a year where my faith in God is build, the faith even in the simplest things in my life. One of the incidents was during the Staff Annual Dinner for “lucky draw” that comes with great prizes, being the committee there were time where I felt tempted to ensure I receive a better gift and of course some are tempting me to do so. But I believe that He will give me thing that I need and not I want. And it was until the very end that He taught me to put my trust in Him, as the last name in the draw box was my name and the gift on the list was exactly the item that I need.

OBEY

When we asked God to teach us how to love, to have chance to serve and patient, we will need to be ready to go through whatever event that will take place (rooted in Him of course). He taught me to love especially to people I less imagine I can get along, he taught me patient by being in a situations where I need to draw strength from Him and opportunity to serve Him and His people are plenty.  One of the best ministries was to the Mini Kem in Lalok. The journey was an unexpected one, suffering from the mosquitos’ bites and being under the hot sun was nothing compared to the JOY of seeing children and people from everywhere came together to worship Him, the beauty of His creation and His amazing work in the deepest part of our nation.

I have told my friends (of different believe) that I would go again despite all the obstacles that I will face.

I believe that greater things is awaiting for me in year 3013 as I journey with Him together and I hope it will be the same as you.

Have Faith ~till the very end~

Finally the Staff Party is OVER!!!!! **party time ~~real party time for me** Fingers cross no more committee member for me..
Been through tough times with people who are ^^ (don't have a word to describe). But I learned a lesson here! That is to put my trust in God as well as asked Him to help in every single thing even if it is just a call or send and email.
As we prepared for the lucky draws items (top 20) well basically I help to purchased all the item! MacBook Air is the grand prize and the list goes on. Wanted one of those fancy things but in my heart I believe that God will give me something that I needed and not want. So top 20 prizes is out, then top 100 also is out and the remaining prize are from 101 onwards. Being a committee (in lucky draw), we have so many chance to 'play dirty' but that is not what Faith in God it!
On the last day of draw, my heart are pumping real fast! Was thinking what will I get and what will God give to me? In the remaining items, I wanted to have the Microwave Oven, Mixer & Induction Cooker. But seems like all the good gifts was all given out and my name is yet to appear! And when it comes, guess what? The remaining prize is rice cooker (which I already have) and MICROWAVE OVEN! (Yes Oven) my name is the last 2 name in the box! And taaadaaaaa......I got the oven! :) See God is GREAT! Have FAITH in HIM till the very end.
Oooh, the story didn't end here! :) the prize after oven is actually a hamper :/ He knows.... what I really wanted and needed as well. One of the associates will be changing his INDUCTION COOKER with my OVEN :)
