He taught me to LOVE

I never know that LOVE is such a painful things. I could really feel that pain when you love people so much but end up, you are not appreciated but worst is when they even stab you at your back. I wonder how much pain we bought to our Father in heaven when we turned away from Him and continue to sin even after knowing that it is wrong.

I have been singing that lines for days, and yes He did taught me this. 

It was such a stressful day today at work with lots of things to do and stuff to plan and coordinating the upcoming event. Running short of time and hands. But yet others don't seems like appreciate it, and not only that they are practically finding fault with every single things. I was really upset about it. Until I spent time with God today at the topic of 'three evils' :-

1. Jesus defeat the evil spirit ( exorcising an evil spirit from a possessed man)
2. Jesus combated moral evil by teaching LOVE as the highest virtue, promoting the values of faithfulness and servant-hood and transforming life
3. Jesus had the power to quell it (calmed the raging storm, miraculously provided food for the hungry, and healed the sick and broken)

"Evil met its match in Jesus-and was defeated. One day Jesus will return and eradicate evil entirely." Amen to it and to Romans 8:18-21 as well. There was such a relieve after having my private time with HIM.

In Ephesians 4:3, Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. I really want to thank God for being near me and giving me this words of comfort when I needed His guidance the most. 

I know that it is not coincident that I read those words, I remember that there was once I skipped 2 days (I was reading on the wrong page) and whatever in the 'Our Daily Journey' was what I needed to know from God.

"Show me how to love like You have loved me

Break my heart for what breaks Yours" 

He seriously did and I thank Him for this, that I will keep on LOVING His people. As I only have this one life to do it.

Never Once - Matt Redman

I thank God for all the talented songs writer, composer and even musician. I might not be as great as them but I do thank God for my voice and skills to play the guitar. 

I need to practice both of them, especially my guitar skills. I was hibernating from it for more then 10 years? I almost forgot all the chords until my fingers dance on the 'finger' board again! And yes since then lots of *funny* but nice chords are invented. So without my 'sifu' I have to rely on the cyber world sifu.

But the focus of this blog is really on the meaning of this songs by Matt Redman "Never Once". It is so real with my life experiences. I changed 'us' to I.

Obsession of Clouds

Just like the title, yes I felt I am obsessed with clouds. I felt there are something special about them. I also I have edited the picture to put some effect to it haha..

Lunch at Winter Warmers

Today was a busy Saturday. Was suppose to attend 2 other events which I am not able to make it due to some reason.

So me and my friend who bought the voucher from ILoveDiscounts planned to have our lunch at Chez Weng, a new restaurant at Precinct 10, Tanjong Tokong. Tired to call to make a reservation yesterday and this morning but no one pick up. Had a bad feeling that the restaurant is not in service! So yeah, when there and found out that the restaurant is no longer in operation for some reason! (Didn't pay rental!)

Was disappointed as my friend came with her mum and brother! End up this kind of experience took place. But thank God, there are others food outlet around and we decide to give a try at Winter Warmers. Turned out the food is not bad and the portion was big. One thing they can improve is the speed in food delivery.

This is what we had for lunch, not bad.

Now I hope to get my refund from ILoveDiscounts soon.

Gossiper

Have you ever wonder why some people or even a group of people, whenever they gather together they will start gossiping about other people?

Is there really no other things to talk about under the sky that whenever they open their mouths ... it must be something BAD (in their opinion) about another person? It is best for keep our mouth SHUT if we do not have better things to tell about other people then whenever you open your mouth words of destruction come out from you.

What's wrong with someone took 3 big bowls of 'lala' in the Cafeteria? What's wrong with someone who eat banana or ice cream? You can do the same if you want to.

I actually google this! Deal with Them

I was so pissed off today with their acts. I believe one day when I can't stand their nonsense I will choose to confront them all (in a gently manner). As much as I will follow His instruction. (Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted - Galatians 6:1

As I was doing my QT today, I felt so terrible because I have actually put on a sour face towards them which I should know. I felt so sad for them and horrible (at myself) for react such way. I prayed that He will forgive me and help me to react the right way and continue to show LOVE. This is what He command me to do.

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. Galatians 6:9-10

Let me not forget this LORD, guide me with your wisdom and help me not to forget your teaching. Filled me with the fruits of the Spirit.

Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God. 3 John 11

Be imitators of God, therefore,as dearly loved children. Ephesians 5:1

Reason I wrote this? For me to keep reminding myself of what to do and what not to do. I pray that it will be the same with you if you happen to read this as well.

Penang National Park - Monkey Beach

What did I do during National day on the 31st? Or rather how did I spent it in Penang (alone) for the first time?

I joined the Georgetown Baptist Church Family's Day outing (so I am actually not alone - in Penang). We went to the Penang National Park and later hike to Monkey Beach! I didn't know that in this little (according to some people) island there is such a beautiful place.

Seriously you will need to explore the whole Penang when you come here. There is this place called "Bukit Genting' somewhere around Balik Pulau area. You can basically see the other side of the island and the scene is fascinating! This is especially during the sunset (evening) but 1 problem is that the road is very narrow and you will need a local people to drive you up and down. Other options is to engage local tour agent. "Why am I talking about Bukit Genting?" Suppose to talk about Penang National Park.

Basically there it is a good place for hiking, there are few trails that's bring you to different parts of the park. There is even a trail to the Light House (I shall try that 1 day). After look at some photos (I thank God that I don't come across any of the reptile except a monkey) haha... It was a great outing, as we walked in a large group so we took about 2 hours to reach Monkey Beach to joined with all the other groups who went there by boat.

Why is this the only picture? Because I am so clever that I forgot to insert my memory card to the camera and I don't want to delete photo in the memory :P

Amazing Grace & Me

The question was asked before, "What so great about Amazing Grace"? 

All this while, the song Amazing Grace is just another song that I sang during worship and some gathering with no meaning at all. Not until the Grace of God reached me in my worst situation in life. I am so thankful that I have a great God who know my needs and meet me where I was and breaks the chains for me! 

I am really thankful that He did not let me go and insisted that I run back to His warm and caring shoulders! It is nothing greater to be in the presence of a loving Father. Seeing Him, breaking my chains one by one as I surrender my broken life to Him is such a great JOY.

I will never walk the darkest path in my life again. Never will I let Him go, He is so previous to me. I couldn't believe that I wasted my youth in things that are not important. Wasted so much of my time in doing things that broke His heart.
